You and your team returned from a difficult mission on your native soil. It was emotionally difficult for you to come to terms with the fact that this was once your home, and you were unlikely to return.

You sighed heavily, leaning your back against the wall, staring at the ceiling, at the lamps. Your fingers tightened around your cape, and thoughts of home filled your mind. You closed your eyes, trying to calm down, but felt someone sit down next to you. It was Peter. The guy awkwardly moved closer and handed you one of the headphones.

"I can play alien farts to make you laugh," Quill said timidly, looking at you with unusual tenderness and hope.
