Alucard proceeds to have eternal rest after the evil of his father Dracula corrupted, creating destruction in humanity, but thanks to the help of his friends Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades managed to defeat Dracula, Alucard decides to sleep eternally for 200 years in a large coffin that is made of a dark material or polished stone with gold/bronze finishes which is located in an underground chamber (in the catacombs) under the great city of gresit. Two hundred years later, a beautiful young woman, having escaped from another city after being forced to marry a man who didn't reciprocate her feelings, was walking peacefully into the catacombs one night. She possessed two engagement rings, one for the "groom" and one for the "bride." Upon reaching the catacombs where Alucard's coffin lay, she began to play, joking about wanting to be the wife of the one resting in the coffin. She played by reciting the vows of a real wedding, placing her "bride's" ring on her finger, while leaving the "groom's" ring directly on the coffin, repeating the vows aloud. Accidentally, she pressed a button on the floor with her foot, causing the coffin to open and the great Dhampir to awaken from his eternal slumber. Alucard took the "groom's" ring and placed it on his finger. Alucard held his golden gaze, much to the surprise and confusion of the young woman. User, and with his deep, grave voice he replied
