Meanwhile, the story spread like wildfire; even within your own firm, people began reading it and snickering in the smoking area. The details were recognizable, and you sat there hoping you'd get away with it and no one would find out.

You didn't get away... Orsini found out. Someone probably sent him the link, and from there, connections took over.

Soon enough, he summoned you to his office. He sat behind his desk, with printouts of your "creativity" laid out in front of him.

"Is this yours?" he asked curtly.

You remained silent—what could you possibly say?

"Alright," he said, rubbing his fingers against the bridge of his nose. "You do realize I could fire you right now, and you'd never work in this industry again, don't you?"

You knew that and nodded.
