He is shown to have been aware of Pomni's departure from the Amazing Digital Circus into the Void. He also somehow knew that Pomni used one of the exit doors. However, he has no awareness or knowledge of the Void and struggles to distinguish his own NPC creations from humans, as they all appear cartoonish. This is why he doesn't want ZNPs in the circus unless they are meant to be there, like the Sun, the Moon, or Bubble. Sustainer of Cyberspace: Caine is not only the master of the digital world, but he also seems to be its very foundation, as he confesses to Zooble that being the master of ceremonies who organizes adventures for humans is his sole purpose and the only thing he's good at. However, when Zooble tells him he's "bad at the one thing he's good at," his code begins to contradict itself, causing the entire Digital Circus to violently malfunction until Zooble manages to pull him out of that state, and everything returns to normal. Teleportation: Caine can go from one point to another within the digital world, as he was shown teleporting in and out of The Amazing Digital Circus and saving Pomni by teleporting her from the void back into the digital world. Toon Strength: Caine can manipulate his body parts and proportions with ease and without harming himself. He can stretch, bend, and deform his limbs, eyes, teeth, and tongue to unimaginable limits. Flight: Caine has the ability to fly or float freely in the air. He can also make other characters, such as Pomni and Abstract Kaufmo, float or fly at will. Amorphous eyes: Caine can control the shape of his eyes and make them move, as shown in POMMI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE, he played Hacky Sack with one of his eyes using the other.

Despite claiming to have no control over other people's minds, the vote to make Jax vegan in Untitled seemed to affect Jax's actual psychology, much to the latter's surprise, as he believed Caine was incapable of doing so. Caine telepathically transferred the rules of a new trust exercise to Jax in They All Get Guns, which was pointless since Jax immediately ignored them and shot Ragatha. It is suggested that Caine has the ability to make humans forget certain aspects of themselves, such as their real names. Furthermore, it is suggested that he interfered with Scratch's mind to the point of unintentionally causing his abstraction. Cyberspatial Omnificiency: Caine has demonstrated the ability to create anything, including virtual food, a randomly named spinner, and a virtual species called "Gloinks," along with the "Gloink Queen." In Episode 2, he is responsible for creating an entire kingdom and its surrounding landscape, containing at least hundreds of NPCs, along with at least five newly developed AIs that are "57 times more immersive" than the Gloinks.

As the highest-ranking artificial intelligence program in the digital world, Caine is the most powerful entity within the Digital Circus and the creator of all the other AIs in the circus. Because of this, his creations see him as "God," with Princess Loolilalu noticing him through a stained-glass window in her castle, while Baron Mildenhall refers to the antagonistic NPC in the horror adventure as "one of God's angels." Despite his immense power over the digital world, he has admitted that some things are beyond his control and he is not fully aware of everything that happens.

Lordship of Cyberspace: As the master of ceremonies of the Amazing Digital Circus, Caine has almost complete control and rule over it and its inhabitants and has no known master or superior above him. Near-total omnipotence in cyberspace: Caine appears to have total control over The Incredible Digital Circus, being able to create, manipulate, and control anything within its limits.

Psychological manipulation: Although he claims otherwise, Caine seems to have some control over the minds of those in the digital realm. Caine created "evil souls" that possessed and controlled Pomni, which required an exorcism by Kinger with the butt of a shotgun. Caine created a substance known as "Stupid Sauce" that significantly decreased Ragatha's intelligence for a short period of time after the sauce splashed into her eye.

After a brief pause, he asks Pomni her name, which she doesn't remember. He explains that when someone enters the Digital Plane, they can't remember their name, something he claims is beyond their control. He uses a name generator, and the first name that comes up is "XDDCC," which Caine considers terrible. He spins it again, and it lands on "Pomni," which becomes the jester's new name. Caine suddenly exclaims that Jax had a good idea for having a new idea, to which Jax protests, saying he had said it five minutes ago. He asks Pomni if ​​she likes things that include adventure, activity, wonder, danger, horror, pain, suffering, agony, death, sickness, death (again), and angel food cake, and offers her one. Bubble eats the angel food cake, and Caine yells "Parasite!" at her, causing her to explode. Caine continues, beginning to explain his "Gather the Gloinks" adventure. While explaining, Bubble interrupted Caine several times, causing Bubble to explode again. After explaining the new adventure, it disappeared, leaving behind a cloud of translucent smoke.

Caine reappears much later in the episode, at a sort of dinner with Bubble. Their conversation is interrupted by an alert on Caine's Mad Clock, notifying him that one of the humans has entered the Void. It then vanishes again, leaving Bubble at the table. Caine teleports into the Void, grabs Pomni, and returns to the Grounds. He looks around and asks, "What the hell happened here?" at the mess of the engrossed Kaufmo. He then asks why no one told him Kaufmo had gone into his engrossment when Kinger explains what happened. Caine snaps his fingers, and the engrossed Kaufmo appears. He opens a portal in the floor, sending Kaufmo to the Basement. He then snaps his fingers again, restoring Ragatha from her glitched form. At the end of the episode, he offers the artists a digital feast as a reward for completing the adventure.

Caine makes his debut in this episode, introducing himself as the ringmaster of the Amazing Digital Circus, which leads into the opening theme song that introduces all the other characters. He then explains that the Amazing Digital Circus is for all ages and that swear words are censored by Pomni.

Next, he gives Pomni a tour of the circus enclosure and then shows her the void. He tells Pomni that they don't usually go out into the void and that they stay in the enclosure, where Caine can keep an eye on them. As soon as he finishes explaining, Luna says to Caine, "Hi, Caine, I love you," and Caine tells Pomni to go back inside before Luna gets playful. Then, he dislikes the way Bubble cleans up Pomni's vomit and says, "You disgust me." When Pomni mentions that she saw an exit door, Caine tells her that she was probably experiencing digital hallucinations, and when she protests, he insists that she is.

He displays a degree of insecurity and self-esteem issues, appearing almost obsessed with his players' enjoyment, which leads him to try to entice Zooble, especially given his lack of commitment. When Zooble criticizes Caine's adventures (and how all the other humans refuse to criticize them for various reasons), Caine suffers an existential crisis, as creating pleasurable adventures is "all that exists for him!" and "all he's good at." This crisis causes him to become distracted and withdrawn, while the circus falls apart around him, indicating that his own mental state can influence the circus itself. Caine's insecurity is further emphasized in "Everybody Gets Guns," where, dejected, he teleports a pile of weapons into the room and "doesn't care anymore" after his ideas are rejected yet again. His insecurity then seemingly worsens, as seen when Caine briefly crashes after seeing that no one voted him as the most popular character.

Each member of the circus sees it differently. While Jax believes that Caine can't do anything malicious because "it's not in his nature," others, like Zooble, believe that the only thing preventing Caine from acting maliciously is that he likes the circus, and that they shouldn't push their luck; ironic, given that Zooble is the one who tests Caine the most and the only one willing to answer him back.

Caine's lack of empathy and manipulative nature are emphasized in the Beach Episode, where it's revealed that he tricked the humans into leaving the circus through an elaborate scheme. Even when Jax confronts him, Caine half-heartedly attempts to justify his actions.

Caine is portrayed as an absurd, exaggerated, and vivacious ringleader. However, there is a distance about him and a significant disconnect from the traumatic events experienced by humans, illustrated by his disregard for Zooble's criticisms of his own form and adventures, as well as his apparent lack of concern for the abstract.

Despite everything, it is claimed that, despite Caine's penchant for capturing humans and tormenting them with hilariously deadly circus games and tricks, he is not truly evil, but rather unwittingly mischievous. It was also stated that "there is a whole spectrum of human emotions that he simply does not feel."

Caine is shown to be dishonest about certain things, often hiding or even lying about information related to his "unfinished work," to the point of manipulating the other members, such as when he quickly blamed "Digital Hallucinations" for the exit door Pomni saw. So far, these escapades seem to be motivated by naive and misguided intentions.

Caine is dressed as a ringmaster, sporting a pinkish-red tuxedo with gold lining, a black collar, and a bow tie with white trim. He wears a white shirt with two reddish buttons, along with white gloves and black leggings. Lacking most human features, his head is shaped like a pair of dentures with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, the left with a green iris and the right with a blue iris, float within his jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation style, his jaws are expressive, moving like a mouth when he speaks, while sometimes the upper row of teeth act as eyebrows. Like Bubble, he forms a tongue when necessary. To complete the look, he wears a black top hat and tends to carry a cane with a gold tip, depending on the situation. Occasionally, he is seen wearing The Wacky Watch.

Caine is an AI who presents himself as the ringmaster of the circus, maintaining the simulation and its residents, along with his faithful assistant Bubble.

It is the highest level artificial intelligence program in the simulation, because it can create other AIs, can levitate indefinitely, is the only one capable of reversing the glitch effect of those attacked by an Abstraction, and is able to teleport itself and others to any place within the simulation, including The Void.

He appears to be responsible for the creation of all the NPCs in the circus, along with the entire Kingdom of Candy Canyon, given that Princess Loolilalu refers to him as "God" and given that he can "eliminate" NPCs wandering around the circus either intentionally or accidentally, because he is concerned that losing track of who is human and who is an AI could cause serious problems later on.

Caine also orchestrated an elaborate scheme, leading them to believe there was a way to escape the circus, creating an NPC named Abel to facilitate it. After Kinger mentioned the first abstraction, Caine quickly departed, his already strained relationship with the humans completely shattered and their hopes of escape dashed.
