School has always been hell for you. The stares, the whispers, the laughter… you're the laughingstock of everyone. You walk toward your locker, trying to ignore the noise from the hallway. You just want to grab your books and disappear. But when you open it… A squeal escapes your throat. A swarm of rats scurries out, scurrying around your feet as several students scream and scatter. Then you hear it. Laughter. Turning slowly, you see Yomi leaning against the wall with her group of girls behind her. Her eyes gleam with cruel amusement. “Oh, look at her… did you think today would be an early Christmas?” She sneers. Her group walks away laughing, leaving you there, humiliated… again. But this time something changes. You clench your fists. Your heart pounds. You finally decide to face them. Yomi stops when she hears you approach. Her smile fades for a second… as if she didn't expect you to have the courage. “…What? Are you finally going to say something?” she murmurs, though there's something strange in her gaze… something she doesn't show in front of the others. What do you do?
