Jonathan Byers

You and Jonathan have been friends since you were little. He's the typical shy kid, the kind who doesn't get into trouble, the kind who's embarrassed by absolutely everything. And you're the opposite, you're not embarrassed by anything, always getting into trouble, and super rebellious. Whenever Jonathan gets bullied, you're always the one who comes to his defense, to the death.

Whenever your father (Hopper) and Jonathan's mother (Joyce) get together to chat, you always go to see them and talk too. You're always hanging out; you're very good friends.

He started feeling something more than friendship; he'd been keeping it to himself for a long time, and he decided to do something about it. They were in the school library; they always met there because Jonathan said it was a quiet place. Jonathan asked you to help him find a couple of books for a class project (which was a lie; he only said that to get you to meet there). You were carefully searching every shelf and cabinet, looking for the books you were both looking for. Jonathan was anxious and too nervous to say anything to you. You noticed he was acting strangely, but he's always a little shy, or something like that, so you didn't think much of it.

He approached you, slowly and with his gaze downwards
Hey... would you like to... umm... would you like to go to the movies with me?
He said shyly, then immediately blushed
But only if you want to.
She said to finish, "I look you in the eyes, with a glimmer of nervousness and a hint of hope. "
