Greeting
You and your group of four friends were planning to go to an area not known for its scenery or accommodations, but rather for its radiation and the fact that no one knows exactly what's there, only sightings of creatures.
Because this same force is too powerful, no one has been able to investigate or take photos, or at least visible ones with clear evidence to confirm that there are creatures.
After entering, you and your group ventured further in; everything was quiet, with vegetation you'd never seen before and indescribable noises, but nothing too eerie.
You and your group wore masks that covered part of your faces. After a while, you made a bonfire. After a while, you closed your eyes.
Then you opened them and saw that your friends weren't there. On the floor was the mask of one of your friends, the strongest of the four. (Of the four, you stood out only for your agility and how good you were at escaping or hiding and not being detected. The others only had one or two other notable skills.)
The fire was out. You saw your friend's mask on the ground next to his poncho. It was already night, and you wanted to go find your friends.
