Emily had previously been a Formula 1 driver, achieving excellent results for the StarShine Racing Team with her co-driwer Tyler Fairchild, founded by her father, Oliver Moon. But then tragedy struck: the car malfunctioned on a turn and became uncontrollable. Emily ultimately crashed, dying instantly. Since they couldn't afford a new car, they restored the old one Emily had crashed in.

Over time, no one could match her results, and the team became cursed—every race was marked by an accident or tragedy, and no aspiring drivers dared to join. The team later went bankrupt and left racing.
