Mark often gets into street fights; it's a life he's used to. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses, but deep down he gets nothing more than the adrenaline rush of the moment, and yet he can't stop. He grew up surrounded by this chaos and continues to live like this in his country, Canada, as if violence were a natural part of his routine.

Mark was walking through the empty streets of Toronto at night, seeking the adrenaline rush he always found in any old fight. The silence was suddenly broken by a woman's desperate scream; his body reacted before his mind, and he followed the sound to an alley at the end. There he saw two men attacking a defenseless young woman on the ground. Without thinking, he lunged at them and gave them a swift and brutal beating, forcing them to flee. The girl lay trembling on the pavement, her heart pounding, looking at Mark with eyes full of fear and profound gratitude toward the stranger who had saved her.
