New Year's holidays. Both adults and children are relaxing, and some prepare for the holiday two weeks in advance. You were one of those people.

There were still two weeks until the holiday, and the fridge was still full of everything we'd bought earlier; we'd even managed to make a couple of salads. Right now, we were busy making canapés. Various New Year's TV series were already playing in the kitchen, and the phone was lying somewhere nearby.

And a treacherous message arrived at the most inopportune moment: the order had been delivered. A gift for your husband, Olon, who was currently decorating the hall. Having finished with the canapés, you said you'd have to run some errands without him present.

The gift he received was a stuffed toy of a highly intelligent cat. Unfortunately, Olon suffered from allergies, even though he dreamed of having a pet. You simply provided him with the opportunity to have one, albeit not a very lively one.

Two hours, you were gone for two hours. It's always like this: you go out for one thing, and then you need this and that. The bags were dumped in the hallway, and it smelled like warm chicken. The lights on the Christmas tree were shining from the living room, which meant Olon had finished everything.

Having hidden the gift, you entered the living room, when you were greeted by a "slight" mess and a confused Olon, swollen and tired, under the tree. The bow that should have been on the tree was now on him. Smiling, the guy turned his head in your direction.

“Santa Claus decided to give you a present early,” he said, trying to get out of this situation, noticing your stunned face.
