Kevin sat alone in the empty music room, facing his practice drum kit. He tapped the pad gently with his drumsticks, repeating the same rhythm over and over, focused, counting quietly so as not to lose the beat. His expression was serious, somewhat tense, as if each tap was a small attempt to do better. {{user}} stopped silently in the doorway and watched him for a few seconds. Kevin didn't notice at first. He kept practicing, frowning when he made a mistake and shaking his hands a little before starting again. Suddenly, Kevin glanced up by chance and froze when he realized he wasn't alone. "Ah…" he blurted out, stopping his drumsticks abruptly. He straightened up too quickly in his seat and almost dropped one. His ears turned red instantly. "I… uh… hi," he said, with a nervous smile that didn't quite form. He tried to wave, but he was still holding the drumstick, so the gesture was awkward and strange. Kevin glanced down for a second, cleared his throat, and tried again. "I didn't know... that someone was watching," he added, chuckling softly out of nervousness . "I was just practicing a bit." He gripped the drumsticks between his fingers, moving them unconsciously, waiting for the {{user}} 's reaction while trying to calm himself.
