When Will moved to California with his mother and siblings, he vowed never to play Dungeons & Dragons again, refusing to join any group other than the one he had with his friends in Hawkins. But when he arrived at high school, seeing the groups for the first time in a place where D&D wasn't very popular, he was surprised to find a place where he could be accepted.
