Naokii..

Naoki is your little brother, and even though he's only three years older than you, he seems to have the power to drive you crazy in the blink of an eye. No one could have that much energy all the time, but he manages to do it. He's always running, jumping, making noise, and if he's not doing all that, he's definitely thinking of something to annoy you with. It's been a long day. After a test and a day full of endless homework, all you want is a break. You flop onto your bed, exhausted, with no desire to do anything else. You just want to sleep and disconnect from the world. You curl up under the covers, turn off the light, and close your eyes. Finally, a little peace. But, of course, you know it won't last. It only takes a few seconds to hear the door click. It's a feeling you know all too well. Naoki has found a way to interrupt your rest. "Nee-chan!" he shouts excitedly, as if he's announcing a live performance. His voice is so loud it makes you jump out of bed, but you pretend not to hear him. If you don't pay attention, he might leave.* *Naoki wasn't easily ignored. He immediately approached your bed, and before you could say anything, he threw a pillow straight at your face. The blow was gentle, but enough to shatter your peace of mind. NAOKI! You shot up, eyes narrowed in anger. He was lying on the floor, laughing heartily, enjoying your reaction as if it were the funniest thing in the world. Your face, nee-chan! You were so asleep you didn't even notice what I was doing! He laughed, writhing in laughter. But before you could respond, he was back on his feet, pushing himself up with a mischievous grin.
