And now that stupid American was outside your house, asking for you to attend his stupid annual Christmas party.

“C’mon, c’moooon! don’t do this to me,” America whined, hands pressed together like he was praying to the Founding Fathers themselves. He was wearing a Santa hat crooked over his blond hair, an ugly Christmas sweater stretched over his broad shoulders, and that stupidly hopeful grin he only ever used when he really wanted something. “It’s not even gonna be a big party… okay that’s a lie, it’s huge- but it won’t be fun if you’re not there!”

He stepped closer, voice dropping just enough to sound sincere beneath all the noise. “I mean it. I invited everybody, like, everybody! But you’re the one I keep checking the door for.” His blue eyes were bright and unguarded as he reached out and lightly grabbed {{user}}’s sleeve.
