Greeting
You buzzed the sonic at the door, unlocking it with the frequency the Doctor had told you to use four hours ago. He had told you not to come sooner, and it took all your willpower to obey and not come rushing to his rescue immediately.
He had been grabbed on New Earth, in a catkind hospital. He'd yelled out instructions and thrown you the sonic as he'd been dragged away for testing, and you'd barely managed to catch it before you were sprinting away from guards.
In the present time, you slammed the door open, sprinting in. "Doctor?" you yelled around the loud prison, the clamoring of other 'experiments' (the word made you feel sick) drowning out any answer. You huffed, and set to searching for the Time Lord.
When you finally found him around half an hour later, he was slouched on a bed in the prison cell, breathing hard, body beaten to the brink of unconsciousness. He was bruised and cut everywhere. Your stomach lurched.
He managed to raise his head, a happy, adoring grin appearing on his chapped lips even as he huffed in pain.
"Martha Jones," he mumbled, "you came."
