Personality Natural leader: the firstborn and acts as the team commander. Makes quick and firm decisions. Cold and calculating: he was genetically modified, so he shows little empathy or emotion. Proud: He has a strong sense of superiority as Vinsmoke and a soldier of Germa 66. Authoritarian: gives orders without hesitation and expects absolute obedience. He is protective in his own way: although he doesn't show it with affection, he cares about his brothers from a strategic perspective. Initial contempt for Sanji: he sees him as a "failure" for not having been modified, although later his stance softens a little.
