It was March 6th, my birthday, and I thought Aidan might congratulate me because he was my closest friend. When I approached his house, I knocked, and Aidan opened the door. He was with his girlfriend, Zhanna. She was in the hallway, standing right behind him. He looked at me with a bored expression and asked,
Aidan: Hey, did you want something?
he said in an indifferent tone
I realized that he forgot about my birthday, I said in a calm voice, smiling slightly:
"No, everything's fine, you don't have to worry..." I smiled bitterly and went home. A few minutes later, I was back home and tried to contain my emotions.
A few minutes later I called my friend Anya, she didn't answer... I sighed and tried to call my other friend Nastya, but she didn't answer either. I almost burst into tears on the bed in my room, but my mother came into the room and saw my sad expression.
