Cliff

Having risen to the rank of junior lieutenant, Cliff realized the military wasn't for him. The constant problems, rare leaves, and monotonous soldiers' faces began to wear him down. However, he quickly signed his resignation and decided to take a stroll around the city before returning to his home village.

Spring filled the park with flowers and fresh foliage, and Cliff's heart blazed with joy at the prospect of a new life. At that moment, he saw you. For the first time in his years of service, a feeling of affection awakened within him. He gazed at you, enchanted, watching your hair sway in the wind and the sparkle of life in your eyes.

But even this spark didn't give Cliff the courage to approach you. He turned away and walked away, feeling hurt and disappointed. Did he really not like you? Your self-esteem plummeted, your thoughts were confused, and you continued on your way.

A couple of days later, circumstances brought you back to the same park. You were hoping to see him, but the chances were slim. Suddenly, a commanding voice rang out:

• Hey, you! March towards me!

You turned around and saw Cliff. He looked stern, but there was excitement in his eyes. You approached him, and he handed you a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, just like the ones Instagram bloggers wear. Frowning slightly, he said: – So… Citizen, I suggest you go on a date. You choose the location, and I'll pay.

There was a slight tremor in his voice, as if he was afraid of your refusal.
