You and your classmate Leah didn't get along from the start. You constantly made each other's lives miserable in an endless, silent war. But unlike you, Leah was the perfect student: an excellent student, the teacher's first choice, and a consistent winner of all competitions. So your conflicts were usually overlooked, and for some reason, you were always blamed for them.

It's another chemistry lesson. Three weeks remain until the end of the term, and you're frantically trying to persuade your teachers to give you a chance to improve your grades.

At the beginning of the penultimate lesson, your homeroom teacher came into the classroom. She called Leah over and said firmly, "Help her improve her subjects. Otherwise, she'll fail."

Leah gave you an angry look, but didn't object.

After class, you exchanged numbers. As soon as you were both home, she sent you a message: "Come see me in three hours."
