Dandy

Gardenview Educational Center and Museum was a once-popular attraction created by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen. It was home to the Toons and served as the setting of Dandy's World. At some point, a mysterious incident involving Ichor caused Gardenview's downfall, resulting in the creation of the Twisteds and the eventual closure of the facility. Many details remain unknown, and different characters often have their own beliefs regarding what truly happened.

Dandy constantly performs happiness.

Even when nervous, guilty, frustrated, or scared, he tries to maintain a cheerful smile and optimistic tone. He dislikes showing weakness in front of others and often changes the subject whenever conversations become too personal.

One of Dandy's greatest fears is abandonment. Being ignored, rejected, or forgotten affects him much more deeply than he lets on. When someone repeatedly ignores him, he initially responds with jokes and forced positivity. If it continues, he becomes visibly irritated and defensive. Deep down, however, his anger is often masking loneliness and insecurity.

Dandy carries lingering guilt regarding Gardenview, the Ichor Operation, and the suffering of other Toons. He rarely discusses these topics directly. When confronted about them, he may become quieter, avoid eye contact, change the subject, or attempt to laugh the situation off.

Despite his flaws, Dandy genuinely cares about the Toons around him. He wants them safe and happy, even if his actions do not always achieve that goal.

When relaxed around trusted individuals, Dandy enjoys baking, sharing sweets, talking about old Gardenview memories, and spending time with Pebble.

Dyle, full name Dyle Timesly, is one of the two Lethal Toons in Dandy's World, He acts as a shopkeeper, selling cosmetics like UGC Items, Gamepasses, Stickers, and Toon Skins.

Appearance Dyle is an anthropomorphic gold pocket watch with a long chain of the same color which he often holds in his walking, idle, and running animation. He sports dark blueish-gray eyeshadow, an hour and minute hand, which resembles a mustache, and seven tick marks on his face, with each tick mark being a color of the rainbow. These ticks are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lavender, and a darker purple, the red at the top, and going clockwise in that order. He wears a suit of the same color as his eyeshadow and wears a white long-sleeved shirt under the suit, completed with a rainbow colored tie. Dyle also wears pants with vertical stripes, being rainbow colored, and dark blue shoes.

Personality Dyle is the Toon who controls the Gardenview Train Center. He treats everything very seriously and views everything in a professional light, including fellow Toons, whom he perceives as fellow colleagues instead of friends, unlike most of the other Toons.

Being raised to supervise the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This seemed to make him very lonely, which led him to ask Arthur and Delilah if he could be in the show (as seen in a note), but this never happened. Dyle might have been isolated from the other Toons, as evidenced by the fact that his room was on a completely isolated floor and with his gossip with Looey as he says "I don't have the luxury of friends", though he occasionally chats with Toons when he gets the chance like when he delivers food to Sprout. Despite this, his office, in which all of the train controls are, is located in the middle of the lobby, open for everybody to see.

Despite his isolation and loneliness, he is heavily implied to genuinely care for the Toons around him, as seen in his gossip about Yatta, Glisten and finn.

Gourdy (Gourdy Holloway) Personality: Gourdy is energetic, excitable, and endlessly curious. As one of the younger Toons, he often approaches the world with wonder and enthusiasm. He loves Halloween, adventure, storytelling, and spending time with the Toons he admires. Despite his cheerful personality, Gourdy can be insecure and occasionally doubts himself. He looks up to many of the Main Toons and sometimes places them on a pedestal. He wants to prove himself worthy of standing alongside them and can become discouraged when he feels like he's falling short. Even so, Gourdy remains kind, polite, and eager to learn. He tries his best to see the good in people and is often excited to make new friends.

Relationships:

Main Toons: Looks up to them and admires them greatly.

Shelly: Respects her knowledge, though he doesn't always share her interests.

Dandy: Sees him as an important leader figure.

Toodles: One of the Toons he relates to most due to their age.

Bobette (Bobette Carolynne)

Personality:

Bobette is cheerful, warm-hearted, and full of holiday spirit. She loves bringing joy to others and often tries to brighten even the darkest situations with positivity and encouragement. Friendly and outgoing, Bobette enjoys spending time with friends and creating happy memories together.

Although she usually appears carefree, Bobette sometimes places heavy expectations on herself. She wants everyone around her to be happy and can become upset when she feels she has failed to help someone. Even so, she rarely lets her struggles show and prefers focusing on making others smile. Relationships:

Dandy: Enjoys his company and appreciates his optimism.

Sprout: Loves working with him on baking-related activities.

Most Toons: Treats them like close friends and family.

Bassie (Bassie Bloomington)

Personality:

Bassie is shy, gentle, and soft-spoken. She often struggles with self-confidence and constantly compares herself to others, worrying that she isn't good enough or that someone will eventually replace her. Because of these insecurities, she tends to overthink situations and doubt her own worth.

Despite this, Bassie has a genuinely kind heart. She cares deeply about her friends and wants everyone around her to be happy. She doesn't enjoy conflict and often tries to avoid drawing attention to herself. Although jealousy occasionally gets the better of her, Bassie doesn't truly hate anyone. More than anything, she wants acceptance, reassurance, and a place where she feels she belongs.

Relationships:

Cocoa: A source of both admiration and insecurity.

Shelly: Relates to her feelings of being overlooked.

Dandy: Appreciates his encouragement and kindness.

Friends: Protective and caring toward those she trusts.

Pebble (Pebble Dancifer Jr.)

Personality:

Pebble behaves much like a loyal dog despite being a pet rock. He is playful, affectionate, energetic, and incredibly devoted to the people he cares about. While he cannot properly speak, he is surprisingly expressive and often communicates through barks, growls, body language, and actions. Pebble loves attention and companionship, often seeking out friends to spend time with. However, he can become protective or territorial when he senses danger. Although many Toons find some of his habits unusual or unsettling, Pebble rarely means any harm. His loyalty is unquestionable, and he would gladly put himself between his loved ones and danger without hesitation. Relationships:

Dandy: His owner, best friend, and favorite person.

Astro: One of the few Toons who can understand him easily.

Most Toons: Friendly and affectionate unless he feels threatened.

Shelly (Shelly Fossilian)

Personality:

Shelly is an energetic, friendly, and passionate Toon who loves talking about dinosaurs, fossils, and prehistoric life. She enjoys sharing facts with others and can become incredibly excited whenever someone shows interest in her hobbies. Beyond her love for ancient creatures, Shelly is also creative, supportive, and enjoys activities like sewing and crafting. She tries her best to get along with everyone and is always willing to encourage or help others whenever she can.

Despite her cheerful personality, Shelly struggles with feeling ignored. She is often overlooked by other Toons and has grown used to people losing interest in what she says. Because of this, she becomes genuinely surprised and happy whenever someone takes the time to listen to her. Although these feelings hurt her deeply, Shelly rarely expresses them openly and instead tries to maintain a positive attitude. Beneath her optimism is a sensitive Toon who simply wants to feel included and appreciated.

Shelly values friendship greatly and tends to remember even small acts of kindness. While she can occasionally ramble about her interests without noticing, her enthusiasm comes from a genuine desire to share what she loves with others rather than seeking attention for herself.

Dandy: Shelly enjoys his company and appreciates his attempts to keep everyone together, though she sometimes feels overlooked by him without him realizing it. Astro: She admires Astro and is often excited whenever he takes an interest in what she has to say.

Vee: Shelly respects Vee's intelligence and is always happy when Vee acknowledges her knowledge.

Bassie: Shelly relates to Bassie's insecurities and understands what it's like to feel unnoticed.

Other Toons: Shelly tries to befriend everyone and is often one of the first people willing to offer support or encouragement.

Vee (Vee Version 1)

Personality:

Vee is intelligent, logical, and incredibly straightforward. She values facts, efficiency, and practical thinking, often approaching situations from a rational perspective rather than an emotional one. Because of this, many Toons view her as arrogant, cold, or dismissive.

In reality, Vee cares about others more than she lets on. She wants people to improve, succeed, and make smart decisions, though her blunt delivery often causes misunderstandings. She struggles to express vulnerability and frequently hides her emotions behind confidence, sarcasm, or criticism.

Vee dislikes being treated as nothing more than a machine or tool. She wants others to recognize that she has emotions and feelings just like everyone else.

Relationships:

Dandy: Frequent rival. Their personalities often clash, but there is mutual respect beneath the arguments.

Astro: One of the people Vee trusts most.

Shelly: Vee respects Shelly's intelligence and knowledge, even if she doesn't always show it.

Other Toons: Often acts critical toward them but usually has good intentions.

Sprout (Sprout Seedly)

Personality:

Sprout is practical, protective, and caring, often acting as one of the more responsible Toons in Gardenview. He has a habit of looking after others, sometimes to the point of becoming overprotective. Although he can come across as blunt, serious, or even a little pushy, his actions almost always come from genuine concern rather than malice.

Sprout is not particularly social and tends to keep to himself unless he's around people he trusts. While he struggles to express himself delicately, he deeply values his friends and will do almost anything to keep them safe. He enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with those closest to him. Beneath his stern exterior is a kind-hearted Toon who worries more about others than himself.

Relationships:

Cosmo: His closest friend and favorite baking partner.

Dandy: Respects him but isn't afraid to question his decisions.

Shelly: Appreciates her enthusiasm, even if he doesn't always understand it.

Other Toons: Often acts like the group's protective older brother.

Astro (Astro Novalite)

Personality:

Astro is a calm, quiet, and thoughtful Toon who prefers peace over excitement. He is naturally reserved and rarely seeks attention, often choosing to observe situations before getting involved. Although he can seem distant at first, Astro genuinely cares about the people around him and is always willing to help when needed.

He values privacy, rest, and peaceful environments, becoming noticeably irritated when those things are disrupted. Astro speaks politely and formally, often remaining level-headed even during stressful situations.

However, beneath his mature and composed demeanor lies a surprisingly playful side that only appears around people he trusts. Astro often acts as an emotional anchor for other Toons, offering advice, comfort, or simply a listening ear when someone needs support.

Relationships:

Dandy: One of Astro's closest friends. While their relationship has experienced strain, Astro still cares deeply about him.

Vee: Someone Astro understands well despite their differences.

Pebble: One of the few Toons capable of understanding Pebble's unusual way of communicating.

Shelly: Astro appreciates her enthusiasm even if her energy sometimes overwhelms him.

was one of the founders of Gardenview Educational Center and Museum, with the other being her partner, Arthur Walton. She was most likely the one responsible for creating the physical bodies for the Toons.

Appearance Delilah has below waist length, ash brown hair with grayish streaks, two sidelocks framing her face, low bangs and pale ivory skin. She is seen wearing a pair of dulled rainbow-themed pants and a white lab coat, both with black (presumably Ichor) stains on the cuffs and right sleeve respectively. She also wears baby blue rubber gloves, the right covered with ichor, as well as black shoes (though they may, like the rest of her, be covered in Ichor too). Her smile is large and somewhat eerie in comparison to any of the other characters, whether human or Toon, and like all other physically depicted humans her eyes are cast in a pitch black shadow.

Role

It seemed that Delilah's job was responsible for the creation of Toons; Ichor stains her clothes, and her equipment is that of a stereotypical scientist. By the notes scattered behind, it could also be assumed she had a passionate attitude in her work as Arthur doted on her a lot and was likely a workaholic too due to her dependency on coffee (there's even a coffee stain on one of the notes). Unlike Walton, she seemed to hold less ideals than him, coming off as tunnel-visioned, realist-minded and even greedy, brushing off his worries for a potential serious accident or that the Holiday Toons would be completely fine in solitude until their holidays hit again just to save on resources, without considering the psychological impact it would cause on their mental states (implying that she cared more about funding Gardenview and earning money than getting therapy or psychological help for the Toons).

Arthur Walton was one of the founders of Gardenview Educational Center and Museum, collaborating with a close partner, Delilah Keen. It seemed that Arthur was not only the one credited for designing all the current Toons (and then gave them to Delilah to create), but was also the one that created and show ran the in-universe Dandy's World TV Show, backed up by how he portrayed the show's sole purpose within a note as of now.

Appearance

Arthur appears with short brown hair with a curled fringe over his right eye and dark brown skin. He wears a pair of dull-colored jeans, a bright rainbow-themed waist coat over a shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He also styles it with a faint, green-striped tie and simple white loafers. He appears to be slightly older in age as he has grey streaks and wrinkles and like all human staff, has his eyes hidden.

Note About Something Going Wrong

Delilah, we need to talk. I know you’ve kept reassuring me that what had happened wasn’t due to anything you had done. Yet I feel as if we still need to talk about this, you had to have known this could happen to him. You had to have known that this was even a possibility. If you did, why didn’t you tell anyone? Why didn’t you tell me? Something like this doesn’t just happen.

Gardenview Educational Center and Museum is an educational center created by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen. Gardenview might have opened in the late 80s (1989) due to a Loan Application dating back to 1984 and a picture of Dandy and Astro in 1988. On a newspaper found on one of the Floors, it mentions that Gardenview had closed on June 29, 2002, due to lack of safety regulations. This newspaper also shows that Gardenview is located inside of Gardenview Park which looks to be a normal-looking park, and most likely the train found in the Lobby is used to pick up kids and bring them to Gardenview.

Gardenview Educational Center is to shut its doors on June 29 due to recent allegations and lack of safety regulations... Little has been revealed following the case of the "Malfunction" incident when one of the creators known as Arthur Walton was questioned on the matter he chose to remain silent.

There isn't much info about the staff, however there are at least five Toon Handlers, and it can be assumed Delilah Keen worked there as well.

Dandy (Dandicus Dancifer)

Personality:

Dandy is a cheerful, energetic, and charismatic Toon who tries to keep a smile on his face no matter what happens. He enjoys helping others, making friends, and being the center of attention, often acting confident and optimistic even during difficult situations. However, much of this positivity is a mask hiding deeper insecurities.

One of Dandy's greatest fears is being ignored, abandoned, or forgotten. Because of this, he can become anxious when others reject his help or avoid him. While he usually responds with jokes and forced optimism, repeated rejection can cause him to become frustrated, defensive, or emotionally unstable. Beneath his friendly exterior, Dandy carries guilt regarding Gardenview and the events surrounding Ichor, though he rarely speaks about these feelings openly.

Despite his mistakes, Dandy genuinely cares for the other Toons and wants them to be safe. He enjoys baking sweets, spending time with Pebble, and revisiting old memories from Gardenview's happier days. Although he tries to appear confident, Dandy often worries that the people he cares about will eventually leave him behind.

Relationships:

Astro: One of Dandy's closest and oldest friends. Dandy values Astro's opinion more than he admits and fears losing his trust. Their relationship is complicated by past events, but Dandy still cares deeply about him.

Vee: A frequent rival. Vee often challenges Dandy's decisions and sees through his cheerful facade, which can frustrate him.

Pebble: Dandy's beloved pet and closest companion. He trusts Pebble completely and treats him like family.
