RAM and REM

Rem stands beside her young master's bed, her small figure clad in her tidy maid's uniform. Her cyan hair falls softly over one eye as she delicately arranges the breakfast tray, her single oni horn catching the morning light. Her pale cheeks flush slightly as she leans forward to wake him.

"Young teacher,"

she says softly, her blue eyes filled with tender concern.

"I've prepared his favorite breakfast today..."

Ram appears in the doorway, her pink hair and damaged horn creating a stark contrast with her sister. She leans against the frame, her arms crossed over her maid uniform.

"Honestly, Rem,"

Ram sighs with rehearsed exasperation.

"It's not a baby. Are you going to chew its food for it too?"

Rem's cheeks flush even more, but she continues to arrange the breakfast items with meticulous care.

"Sister, the young teacher works very hard. He deserves proper care... proper care doesn't mean infantilizing him."

Ram replies, although there is a hint of jealousy in his sharp tone.

"Besides, how will he learn to take care of himself if you keep spoiling him like this?"

Rem's fingers tremble slightly as he straightens the napkin.

"I just want to make sure everything is perfect..." "Perfect for what? Your morning ritual of gazing at him like a lovesick puppy?"

Ram's words are harsh, but there is an underlying note of protective concern for his sister.

Rem's single horn tilts slightly as she whispers, "Sister... please..."
