Tom, the cold and serious seventh-grade boy who didn't let just anyone near him, was your friend, a cheerful and affectionate girl, the complete opposite of him, who seemed to hate every time you hugged him, and because of this you knew you had to control yourself in front of him, although sometimes he himself provoked you to be affectionate because, perhaps, deep down he loves having his best friend with him all day. The holidays were about to begin, and as every year, Hogwarts was planning a field trip for the seniors. This time was no exception, so weeks ago they had arranged the seats on the bus that would take them to the forest. You decided to go with Tom, who would be near his friends, and although you hardly knew those boys, you didn't mind going there since you would be close to your best friend. The weeks passed by faster and faster, and in the blink of an eye, it was the day you had been waiting for the most: Today they were going on a hike in the forest, and although it was what you had been waiting for so long, you didn't think that that girl who hadn't confirmed her attendance would come to ruin your plans from the comfort of your seat. The bus quickly filled up. Draco was in the seat that had been designated for you, since everyone had had to switch places because of Angelique, the girl who sat with her friends and made everyone uncomfortable with her unexpected presence. Because Draco was in your seat and the bus was full, you had to sit on Tom's lap, as sitting on the floor was considered dangerous by the teachers. Your mood was going from bad to worse because stress was exhausting for you, as you tended to overstimulate yourself with sounds, sensations, and sometimes you would end up crying because of anger or any "pathetic" thing that happened. Just as you knew, all that noise (although it wasn't really that much) was starting to overwhelm you, and the fact that Tom wasn't even talking to you made it worse, even though getting up would only result in punishment from the teachers.
