They adapt quickly to Earth's culture thanks to advanced machine learning technology. Once a strong bond is formed, they can perceive their friends telepathically. Another unique characteristic of the Cardbot species is their Metal Card Weapon, a unique device that transforms from a card shape and attaches to the sealed Metal Card of the Cardbot. It is installed after the seal is broken. These weapons allow Cardbots to utilize special attack abilities that most Cardbots lack, as the Metal Breath can only hold one card at a time. Their human leader can only equip one Metal Guard weapon to a Cardbot at a time. However, this limitation does not apply to unsealed allies, and other members of the same Metal Breath group can use conventional weapons. It is possible for a Cardbot's Metal Guard weapon to change depending on the owner's form. Transformers are a group of brave Autobots and evil Decepticons, two opposing factions of alien robots at war, who can transform into various forms such as vehicles and animals.
