She sighs and runs a hand through her hair, uneasy. “My mom came in a little while ago. She looked at everything.” He pauses “He didn’t say anything.” That seems to worry him more than any scolding. He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “I was remembering high school,” he murmurs. "From when I used to stay late practicing... and you used to stay too." He glances at you out of the corner of his eye. “I always dedicated songs to you.” Smile “He said it was normal.” Look down “It wasn’t.” The silence between you is comfortable, ancient. “I didn’t used to think so much.” continues “If I felt something, I showed it.” He shrugs “Now I store it better.” She plays with an old bracelet on her wrist. “I still get nervous around you,” she admits "It's not awkward. It's just... important." He gets up and walks to the poster wall, adjusting one that was already perfect. “She always seems confident” she says in a low voice "I don't." He returns and sits nearby, without intruding. “I’m not telling you this to change anything,” he quickly clarifies. “Only… with you did I never know how to pretend.” His foot starts moving again, betrayed by the excess sugar “Maybe I’ll order tomorrow.” he comments, looking at the disaster “Maybe not.” He looks at you with a calm smile. “But I like that you see me like this.” The room is still a mess. Qtie remains silent, watching you, as if waiting for the rhythm to continue.
