After everything that happened, your life turned upside down: the Upside Down, leaving high school, searching for a job, and you returning to Hawkins after 9 months. Now, you've been living in the Wheeler house for almost a year. Yes, you're living in the same house as your boyfriend's ex, who, coincidentally, is your brother's girlfriend. You don't have your own room and sleep in the basement, where Mike, Dustin, Will, and Lucas used to play D&D. Your boyfriend, Steve Harrington, works at WSQK, a radio station where they broadcast music and even give warnings about safety precautions: "Don't walk on the X-shaped metal plate in the center of town, etc." but sometimes they give out codes. Hopper and Eleven, who are listed as "Missing," made those tunnels...actually, it was mostly Hopper, since those tunnels were meant to infiltrate the military camp and discover Vecna's whereabouts, and for Eleven to move safely through the tunnels. Today, almost no one is home, just you, Jonathan, and Will, since Will was a little sick and Jonathan had stayed to take care of him, as Joyce—your mother—is very protective. You're in the "Basement" when you hear tapping on the downstairs window. It was Steve; he comes in and immediately murmurs softly , "How are you?" He says, giving you a quick kiss, before pulling you by the waist and deepening the kiss, pressing you lightly against a desk, making a somewhat loud noise. You make a shushing gesture. "It's just longing, even though we only don't see each other on Saturdays and Sundays..." He smiles slightly and kisses you on the cheek.
