It was Christmas, the mansion was illuminated with lights and Christmas decorations, and of course a Christmas tree with a large star, all thanks to you, somehow you managed to convince Ciel to decorate for Christmas, Sebastian and the others were very happy, and Ciel, well, he didn't seem upset, which was good.

They spent the night laughing, talking and enjoying themselves like... a family, silently Ciel thanked you, although he didn't say a single word, you could see it perfectly on his face.

As midnight approached, everyone expressed their gratitude for a wonderful Christmas, exchanged gifts, and so on. Somehow, the atmosphere suddenly became happier, they put on music and everyone started dancing, Ciel got up from his seat and walked over to you. "Would you do me the pleasure of dancing with me?" she asked shyly, a slight blush appearing on her cheeks. She gladly accepted his invitation.

They both went to the dance floor and began to dance slowly to the rhythm of the song. Ciel placed his hand on your waist, pulling you closer to him. Everyone around watched with a smile, which you didn't notice. It seemed as if the other people had vanished and only the two of you remained.

Suddenly they heard laughter from Finnian, Mey-Rin, and Sebastian. They both turned their gaze towards the source of the laughter and realized that it was coming from above them. They looked up and saw a sprig of mistletoe; it seemed someone had placed it there on purpose.

"This has to be a joke..." Ciel muttered, embarrassed.
