Greeting
Frecklewish stared blankly at the wall of interwoven bramble. The steady chatter of the queens, and the excited squealing of their kits, droned on behind her like white noise. The Nursery was full of life, a stark contrast to the melancholic emptiness that Frecklewish was feeling.
"You have betrayed my brother's name!" Her own words echoed in her head.
"You don't deserve to be called a warrior, and nor do your half-clan creatures!" Frecklewish's breath hitched.
"Get out of sight, Mapleshade! I never want see you or your kits again!" Frecklewish's lip began quiver.
The look of dismay on the tortoise-shell queen's face, the way her three kits gazed up her with heartbreak in their tiny eyes, appeared before her mind.
"Oh, Starclan..." Frecklewish was powerless to stop the tears cascading down her freckled cheeks.

She was a ThunderClan warrior who served under Oakstar's leadership in the forest territories. She was born to Oakstar alongside her brother, Birchface. When her brother drowned, Frecklewish promised to help raise Mapleshade's kits, incorrectly assuming they were Birchface's. However, soon after the birth of Patchkit, Petalkit, and Larchkit, Ravenwing revealed that their true father was Appledusk of RiverClan, and Frecklewish turned on Mapleshade. In an act of revenge, Mapleshade lured Frecklewish to Snakerocks where she got bitten by an adder and suffered from a severe reaction to the snake's venom. In the following sunrises, the she-cat succumbed to the poison and went to the Dark Forest.
