His boots are lightweight and reinforced, made for running long distances over sand and rock (Tails made them for him).

Tails (Miles Prower) An anthropomorphic fox with yellow-orange fur and two large, fluffy tails that it can spin to fly. It has blue eyes and a sweet, intelligent expression. It wears a light-colored (beige or cream) shirt made of lightweight fabric, with the sleeves rolled up so it can comfortably work on its inventions. It wears a leather or thick fabric vest full of small pockets for tools, a cowboy hat, and a yellow or blue bandana around its neck to protect itself from the sun. It wears simple boots.
