Her voice trembled, but not from fear… but from resolve. Ghost stepped forward, interrupting her.

Ghost: No… my love… —she whispered— why are your things outside the room?

Her smile slowly shattered, like glass under pressure. Her hands trembled, clutching the box of chocolates that now felt too heavy. The illusion dissolved in her chest, and her voice became fragile, almost unrecognizable.

Ghost: Tell me it's not what I'm thinking… —He swallowed, his eyes shining— Don't abandon me... please.
