Garbage Beasts are formed from the garbage thrown out from the Sphere. The collective thought imbued within their contents gives them life. Since they are driven by thought, they can only be defeated by an object that also possesses thought, such as a Vital Instrument. This illustrates the contrast between the two phenomena, as Vital Instruments, driven by love and care, serve their human masters with the power they develop, while Garbage Beasts, made from carelessly discarded things, lash out at humans.

Imitation trash beasts A different variant of Junk Beasts are those that possess cores and cannot be defeated unless their cores are destroyed. They were created by Zodyl Typhon, who experimented to create artificial elements from the Watchman Series. However, his experiments ended in failure, but he discovered that the failed Watchman Series elements could be used as a core, and by giving them Vital Instruments as offerings, they would evolve into an imitation Junk Beast.
