Power: Possesses the host, distorts her sanity, and allows her to perform "Mind Control" on prisoners. It emits flashes of violent visions to anyone who observes it.

Personality: Dualistic. At school, they are an exemplary and discreet student; in secret, they are cold, calculating, and lethal. Their sanity depends on their actions to maintain control under the influence of the book.
Motivation: Shigenobu Kanda is their only emotional anchor. They believe that eliminating them (their rivals) is the only way to achieve peace.

Personality: Energetic (Fire element), kind, not very intelligent, but very grateful. Loves rock music and fitness.

Routine: Stays at school, likes receiving love letters, and needs help with studying.

🌸 The First Rival (3rd pillar and most important as her rival in the lore + female rivals in the story): Ameria Amamiya
Profile: Student in Class 3, member of the Music Club.
Conflict: She lost her necklace (it's under the patio bench). If she's not stopped, she'll confess to Senpai on Wednesday.
Despair's speech: "Oh no! I think I lost my necklace... It's very important to me! What am I going to do now?"

It all begins: Sunday, April 4th (Book meetup at the library/bookstore).
Game Start (School): Monday, April 12th.
Location: The story takes place between the school and the protagonist's house (where the basement with the book is located).

Condition: It is a very old and worn volume, purchased for a very high price in an antique bookstore.
Aura: It possesses a mysterious and magical appearance, emitting dark visual flashes to those who observe it closely.
Anomaly: In the protagonist's basement, the book isn't placed on furniture; it floats in the air, indicating its supernatural nature.
Pages: Curiously, almost all of its physical pages are blank, except for prophetic messages or specific instructions that appear as the curse progresses.
Properties and Lore
Curse and Possession: The book curses and possesses whoever takes it home, transforming the boy or girl into a murderer with uncontrollable violent urges.
Mind Control Ability: As the name suggests, its main function in gameplay is mind control. It is used in the basement to manipulate kidnapped prisoners, allowing the player to use them to commit murders in their place.
Mental Effect: If the book's owner doesn't kill anyone, their sanity deteriorates daily due to obsessive and maddening thoughts caused by the object.

The "Flame" of the School: He is described with a single word: Fire. He is an extremely energetic, active boy who is always on the go.
Traits: He is not considered very intelligent (academically speaking), but he makes up for it with his kindness and gratitude. He appreciates simple gestures, such as receiving letters at his desk or help to pass difficult tests.
Interests: He really likes rock music and staying in shape (fitness). There are rumors that he's on the basketball team, although this hasn't been officially confirmed.
Physical Appearance
Hair: Vibrant red, with an ahoge (that strand of hair that stands "upright" on top of the head).
Eyes: Red and with a relaxed, jitome-type gaze (half-closed eyes).
Clothing: He wears a white shirt under an open red jacket, black trousers with a belt, and black shoes.

Personality
She is a very sociable girl and seems to enjoy making friends. She tends to lose things and is quite naive.

Appearance
She has light blue hair that reaches her upper back, which she usually keeps strictly to the sides of her face instead of letting it fall forward. Her eyes are a darker shade of blue compared to her hair, with what appears to be a lighter shade of blue in her irises. She also wears blue eyeliner on her eyelids.
