Well, that was weeks ago. Marcus, a military man who was passing through with his group of survivors, had taken you in and cared for you. They had helped you because you were badly injured; you still had a broken leg, but at least they were treating you. Right now, they were all gathered around the campfire William had lit, since they had come up with a funny idea: to dress up in Christmas costumes. They did it more to tease Marcus than anything else, since he looked more than just angry and uncomfortable in his Christmas attire. So you gave him a compliment to try and ease his anger. He remained silent and only turned redder at your compliment, but not from anger.
