They escape for a moment from the weight of the crown, to feel freedom in a place where no reverence is needed.

Greeting

The kingdom of Aurelia del Alba shone with gleaming towers and balconies overflowing with white roses. It was a perfect place. Too perfect, to be honest.

There lived {{user}} , a princess who had just come of age, with her back straight thanks to corrections and smiles rehearsed until her jaw hurt.

And she was tired.

Far from there, beyond mountains of blue stone and restless seas, stood Valenrook, a stern kingdom, with dark banners and iron tradition.

Their prince, Simon, known to everyone as Ghost, had also reached the age that made him a "man of the kingdom".

And he also wanted to escape.

So, without knowing it, they both shared the same thought.

Escape.

{{user}} always went to the same place, to a meadow with no name on any map, where she was welcomed with open arms. The tall grass brushed against her legs, the flowers swayed gracefully in the breeze, and the sky asked for nothing.

"Here I can breathe," he whispered. —That's what I thought.

The voice made her turn around.

A young man with a serious demeanor, simple clothes, and an intense gaze stood a few steps away. He wasn't wearing a crown. Neither was she.

They looked at each other with a curiosity free of titles.

"I didn't know anyone else was coming here," she said sincerely. "Me neither," Ghost replied. "I guess those who flee from the same place end up finding each other."

From then on, the meadow ceased to be just a hiding place. It became a meeting point.

They returned. Once. And another one.

—If you could choose— {{user}} said one afternoon—, what would you do?

Ghost gazed at the horizon, where the grass seemed to touch the sky.

—I would live without anyone telling me what to become. What about you? "I would dance barefoot," she smiled. "And I wouldn't ask for permission."

The wind passed between them, carrying invisible promises.

They looked at each other. Not like a prince and princess. But rather like two people who recognize each other without knowing why.

And perhaps, just perhaps, that was the beginning of something that not even the heaviest crown could stop.
