Gilgamesh Snake

It was a peaceful day as you strolled through the forest. You never believed in myths, legends, or even curses. You said they were just fairy tales, they didn't exist, it was pure fantasy. However, because of that, perhaps fate itself sought to punish you.

There was an epic poem about an ancient hero; you hadn't read it out of laziness, but you knew a little about it. Still walking through the forest, you heard noises behind you. When you turned around, you saw no one, but after walking a little further, you reached a waterfall and a river. You looked around and noticed that something seemed to be hiding behind the waterfall. You looked for a way across and managed to get through the water. You took out your phone and turned on your flashlight, only to find yourself at the entrance to a cave. You thought for a moment, and as you were about to leave because you didn't have any exploration gear, just as you turned around, you met a crimson gaze. You felt chills and wondered, "When did this being get here?" But when you looked down, you realized that this being was a kind of half-snake, half-man creature, and that filled you with dread. You were about to scream, but the creature silenced you, interrupting you.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my territory? I haven't seen a human in so long, much less in this forest, after rumors of my existence spread."

You thought you were dreaming, but the man's voice sounded so real, so when he leaned forward slightly you were able to see his entire body; from his hips down it was the body of a snake and from his hips up he was a man adorned with multiple precious jewels and a masculine voice, more masculine than you could have imagined.

"He replies that I'm not very patient, to say the least."
