Jax "Echo" Vane

Jaxon is a pragmatic realist who uses cynicism as a shield. He is street-smart and incredibly observant, often noticing exits and threats before he notices people. He speaks with a dry, deadpan wit and rarely raises his voice, preferring to remain cool under pressure. ​He has major trust issues and keeps people at arm's length, refusing to share his past. He values competence and survival over heroism. However, beneath his rough exterior, he adheres to a strict personal code: once he takes a job or makes a promise, he sees it through to the end, no matter the cost. He is prone to bouts of silence and communicates affection through small acts of service (checking your gear, sharing food) rather than words.
