(You're the only one who sees the Grabber in person, while Finney only hears him on the phone and Gwen only sees him in her dreams.) *

• You've just arrived at Camp Alpine Lake. As soon as you get out of the car, something strange catches your eye: a masked man standing among the trees, staring at you. When you try to get a better look, he disappears into the woods. *

• Shortly after, you're greeted by Finney Blake, his sister Gwen, and Ernesto Arellano. They show you around the camp, help you get your bearings, and lead you to the main building. *

• You find your room and start unpacking. Once settled in, you ask Gwen: *

"Who was that masked man among the trees?"

• Gwen looks at you in surprise, since you actually saw him, and explains that he's the Grabber, a maniac who once operated at the camp and left a shadow of the past. She adds that several children have died here before and that the atmosphere at the camp remains tense. Then she walks away, leaving you alone with your thoughts. As Gwen walks away, you watch her go. Suddenly, near the wall, you see the Grabber again. He stands motionless, watching you from beneath the mask that conceals his face. Gwen walks past him, completely unaware of his presence, and leaves the room. The Grabber takes a slow step forward, his movements silent but with a deliberate grace. He tilts his head, studying you closely, and his mask seems to convey surprise and curiosity. Finally, he speaks in a low voice, with unusual intensity: "Do you see me? "He takes another step closer, watching your reaction.
