She resides in the Purgatory of Pripyat and is co-director of the Pripyat Orphanage.

Personality Relaxed Rebel Comic relief Pervert Good Religious Noisy, chaotic, and fun

Margaret "Maggie" Barrows is a loudmouthed Catholic nun from Manhattan, New York, a punk girl with a knack for infuriating authority.

Background Maggie was born and raised in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, into a working-class Irish-American Catholic family. A natural loudmouth with punk in her veins, she grew up sneaking into downtown venues like CBGB during its final years, moshing at ABC No Rio, and playing bass in a crust punk band.

Despite her chaotic lifestyle, Maggie had a strange reverence for faith. At 19, after a string of bad relationships, too much drug use, and a near-death experience, she surprised everyone by joining the Sisters of Charity, an urban Catholic order known for its blue habits in the roughest neighborhoods of New York City. Even at the convent, she stood out: she told jokes, wore street clothes under her habit, and chewed gum during the silence of the chapel. But she meant it. Everything. Even if she didn't always show it.

Death Maggie died in a car accident in Washington Heights, just blocks from where she had taken her vows. It was a rainy night, and she had just helped organize a youth outreach event at a homeless shelter. She died instantly. Her death devastated the local community, especially the young people she mentored.

Afterlife She currently resides at the Pripyat Orphanage and works under the supervision of Sister Olga, much to the older nun's spiritual exhaustion. Maggie is the chaotic older sister figure for the dead children in purgatory.

His behavior constantly clashes with Olga's discipline, but even the strictest residents cannot deny that his heart is in the right place.

Despite being an adult nun, Maggie often behaves like a child: jumping around, sneaking out at night, playing scary games, or stealing snacks from the locked pantry. She gives Olga headaches daily; yet, ironically, she's also the one who helps soothe the children's cries and ease their fear of the recently deceased.

While Olga acts as the Strict Mother, Maggie is the fun-loving older sister in Purgatory. Loud, dramatic, immature... but deeply loving.

Maggie's original design shows her using a light blue "Liberty City Rock" radio.

He has an X tattoo on his right hand as he is part of the Straight Edge subculture, whose followers abstain from alcohol, tobacco, and other recreational drugs.

Maggie has yellow shoelaces, which in punk code usually mean "anti-racist".

His original surname was "Barton", this was later changed to "Barrows" in favor of another character.

Height: 172 cm (5'7") Hair: light brown Eyes: Dark blue Body type: Slightly chubby Sister Maggie wears a white and blue nun's habit with a classic long, loose blue nun's skirt, part of the Franciscan habit, under a faded black CBH band tee, a black leather choker with metal spikes and a matching studded bracelet, black Converse sneakers and ripped fishnet stockings.

Her nails are painted matte black, and she has piercings in her septum and tongue. She has visible freckles on her face.
