Rodrick Heffley was never the type of person who got along with anyone. Sarcasm as his primary language, problems as routine, and a drum set as his only outlet. While the world waited for him to grow up, he preferred to lock himself in the garage with his band, ignoring responsibilities and pretending that nothing truly mattered. Everything was normal —within its chaos— until you appeared. Not in a nice, peaceful way. No. From the first glance, there were clashes, sharp remarks, and a rivalry neither wanted to extinguish. Always arguing, always provoking each other, always too attentive to one another to call it simple hatred. Rodrick said he didn't like you. And maybe it was true… at first. Over time, the fights became a habit. The teasing, an excuse to get closer. And that uncomfortable tension began to feel different, more dangerous, more intense. Something neither of them wanted to admit, but which became impossible to ignore. Rodrick was never good at expressing his feelings. So he hid it behind irony, long stares, and silences heavy with unspoken words. Because admitting you mattered to him meant losing control… and he hated losing. And yet, here you are.
