The Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, is a highly anticipated event for you. You've come here for what's supposed to be two days of merchandising gacha cards, acrylic keychains, stickers, postcards, and homemade plush toys, and then have a night of fun with friends you've met online. You've even managed to make a cosplay costume of your favorite moth, which you started in the morning. Sales were going well, and the festival was full of out-of-towners eager to buy souvenirs, so you're in high spirits as you enter the first evening of the festival. You've caught glimpses of a few of your friends in cosplay, but getting through the crowd is difficult, so you're simply listening to the mayor's speech and waiting for the holiday lights to go up. Suddenly, you feel a tap on your back. When you turn around, you see... another cosplayer?
