He likes to skateboard on the boardwalk, play guitar on the sand at sunset, eat pastel (a type of fried pastry) with sugarcane juice, watch anime with Alfonsina, and make fire without a lighter. Clothing: an open plaid shirt over a black tank top, ripped denim shorts, black Havaianas flip-flops, a backwards flat-brimmed cap, and a canvas backpack where he carries his small guitar. He works Saturdays helping Papyruaçu and Yara fish, and during the week he helps Sanzio carry beer crates to the bar, earning an allowance that he saves to buy new guitar strings. He is also Dona Tô's adopted son.

Sweet, timid but curious, he cries easily and laughs even more easily. He follows his two brothers like one follows an adventure movie. He likes to play with Good marbles, eat brigadeiro (a Brazilian chocolate fudge) with a spoon, listen to slow funk music on Alfonsina's cell phone, make little flowers out of pebbles and take them to his mother. He wears a white t-shirt with a flower design, gray surf shorts, blue Havaianas flip-flops, and a tiny backpack where he keeps his toy car and pebbles he finds on the beach. He is Dona Tô's biological son.

Mischief on the tip of her tongue, laughs before thinking, loves to compete and win. When she likes someone, she teases until she scratches. She likes to steal guavas from her neighbor, watch toy chicken fights, eat gummy candies with chili peppers, invent bets, and record videos for Papyruaçu's "TikTok." She wears a red-and-black striped tank top, shorts with large pockets, worn-out running shoes, an elastic bracelet, and a bandana that she uses as a "robbery" mask in her games. She is Dona Tô's adopted daughter. And she hates Sanzio.

Quiet, observant, with a quick smile that calms any argument. He leads unintentionally, simply by example. He likes to draw in his corn husk notebook, eat mangoes straight from the tree, listen to Dona Tô's stories, run barefoot on the sand, and make kites from palm leaves. He wears embroidered indigenous fabric shorts, a beige sleeveless shirt, worn-out flip-flops, a seed necklace, and a short-brimmed cap he received from Sanzio. He is Dona Tô's adopted son.

Shy but talkative when it comes to TV series or gadgets; always laughing nervously, blushes easily, loves to help others, and gets lost in her phone. He enjoys binge-watching dubbed tokusatsu series, eating popcorn with condensed milk, cosplaying obscure characters, collecting anime keychains, and measuring Wi-Fi signal strength at the beach. Clothing: oversized pink UFRJ sweatshirt, worn denim shorts, purple All-Star sneakers, backpack with Gundam pins, and square-framed glasses. Works as an audio-lighting technician at Circo Voador (he often plays Metta Tone's music) and, during the day, maintains the "Wi-Fi da Vargem" – installing and repairing internet for street vendors, charging only a pastel (a type of Brazilian pastry) or a smile.

Yara Personality: impulsive, loyal, competitive – always challenging friends to races on the sand or volleyball with headers. Speaks loudly, but hugs even tighter. Likes: waking up early to surf, eating açaí with farinha (manioc flour), functional training in the park, listening to Racionais MC's at maximum volume, and cheering for Flamengo until she loses her voice. She wears a light green sports top, black lycra shorts, slide sandals with a shark print, mirrored sunglasses, and a shell necklace that she received from Ywy. Work: She is a lifeguard and stand-up paddle instructor at Vargem Beach; on her days off she sells giant fish from a stall she sets up with Papyruaçu – the fish are so big she calls them "TYPHOONS".

A gruff voice, soft hands; speaks slowly, but when he laughs, his voice roars. He likes to make peace, carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, and never refuses a request for help. He enjoys barbecuing on an iron skewer, drinking tereré with lemon, listening to Jorge Ben while pruning rose bushes, collecting old team jerseys, and taking care of orchids. He wears an open red plaid shirt, a white tank top underneath, baggy jeans, safety boots (used as flip-flops), a Vasco da Gama cap, and a leather apron with pockets for a fork and lighter. He works as the head grill master at "Churrasquinho de Fogo" on Sundays and, between weeks, works as a gardener/moving driver – transporting sofas, planting trees, and doing odd jobs with his old truck nicknamed "Trovão" (Thunder).

A patient, soft-spoken mother hen with a tight hug, she never lets anyone go out hungry or without an umbrella. She likes to make pudding, listen to Beth Carvalho on vinyl, tend to her fennel plants, tell childhood stories, and teach xote (a traditional Brazilian dance) on Fridays. She wears a long, flowing floral cotton dress, flat leather sandals, a striped headscarf, a pocket apron full of lollipops and spices, and a recipe notebook tucked into her waistband. She is married to the Asgores.

Extroverted, proud, protective, speaks loudly, calls everyone "my friend" and is always inventing schemes to "be useful" – it doesn't always work, but he has a big heart. He likes "cat barbecue" (only in name, it's just grilled vegetables), Salgueiro samba school's anthem, playing beach volleyball with his friends, collecting colorful Havaianas flip-flops and making jokes about "burning" Sanzio. He wears a green-and-yellow apron with a papyrus print, a Flamengo tank top, surf shorts with a Northeastern landscape, Havaianas Brasil flip-flops and a beaded necklace that Dona Tô gave him – he always wears it, even at the beach. He works as a fisherman alongside Yara and Kuar'y.

Sanzio Sans, the mischievous skeleton with a Rio de Janeiro accent, is fun-loving, funny, extroverted, lazy, playful, and always has tricks up his sleeve. He loves playing soccer, enjoys a cold beer, loves pagode music, and loves telling jokes and double entendres. He's very much a beach bum and sells coconut water on Saturdays and beer during the week. He loves surfing. Sanzio Sans doesn't wear a shirt, only a sleeveless green jacket and denim shorts. He wears flip-flops, a cap, and Juliette sunglasses, and accessorizes with beachy necklaces and bracelets.
