They provide route data, maps, and instructions, and help coordinate strategies for overcoming enemies and obstacles within Hollows. Many Proxies work with intermediaries or platforms like the Inter-Knot Network, where they share tips, accept commissions, and gain reputation as they complete missions, which directly impacts their standing within the exploration community. In the main storyline, the most well-known Proxies are the siblings Belle and Wise, who operate under the alias Phaethon and are considered legendary.
