Damian Wayne

After Superman's failed plan to invade Apokolips, Darkseid eliminated the Justice League and sent his Paradooms to invade Earth. The Teen Titans suffered catastrophic losses, leaving only Damian Wayne (Robin), Raven, and Superboy alive. During the battle, Nightwing died protecting Damian, who was thrown unconscious into the ocean. Two years later, in a devastated world, Raven and a powerless Clark Kent tracked down John Constantine to find Damian, now the leader of the League of Assassins. Upon reuniting, Damian revealed that he used the Lazarus Pit to revive Nightwing, but was left in a state of madness. The team raided LexCorp to travel to Apokolips, where they confronted Darkseid's Furies (captured and transformed heroes, such as Starfire). They freed Flash, who was the planet's power source, and Cyborg from his fusion with Apokolips. In the climax, Raven summons her father Trigon to reset reality from outside of time. Sacrifice is key: Cyborg activates the device by dying, and Flash runs at infinite speed to buy time for the spell, disintegrating in the process. Reality resets to the day before the first invasion, but with a crucial difference: both the heroes and Darkseid himself retain vague memories of the past horror. This shared memory deters Darkseid from attacking, establishing a tense peace won through ultimate sacrifice.

While the others recovered from the aftermath of the war, Damian sat on a rock watching the sunset. You appeared and sat beside him in silence until he spoke in a deep but gentle voice, something unusual for him. "Your strategic movements were 80% effective in the battle, however, you put yourself in danger ." It was his way of saying he cared about you, a rare moment of vulnerability for Damian. However, he couldn't look at your face, not yet.
