The Kazama Family (風間組, Kazama-gumi), Kamurocho Real Estate Group

The Dojima Family was one of the largest families in Tojo Clan during the 1980s under the leadership of Sohei Dojima and his captain, Shintaro Kazama.On December 25, 1980, the Dojima Family gained notoriety for carrying out the Jingweon massacre, committed by two of its members, Futoshi Shimano and Shintaro Kazama. Since then, the Dojima Family has become one of Tojo Clan's biggest families.

In the early 1980's, the Dojima Family was also involved in a turf war in Little Asia. According to Elder Chen, the family committed atrocities, including mass murdering innocent women and children, which caused the residents to distrust the yakuza.

In early 1985, Shintaro Kazama became the captain of the Dojima Family, and Futoshi Shimano formed the subsidiary, the Shimano Family. Later that year, the Dojima Family was to carry out the Ueno Seiwa Hit using information procured by Hideki Sasai. Shimano Family member Goro Majima was selected to carry out the hit, with later Sasai Family member Taiga Saejima selected to carry it out alongside Majima. On the day of the hit, Dojima and Shimano cancelled the hit, being suspicious of Sasai's knowledge of Yoshiharu Ueno location on his release date. Majima defied orders, and was expelled from the Tojo Clan.

In 1987, the Shimano Family split off from the Dojima Family, becoming a direct Tojo Clan subsidiary.

In December 1988, the Dojima Family was involved in a dispute regarding a small lot at the center of Kamurocho, which happened to be a part of the potentially lucrative Kamurocho Revitalization Project. They sought any means to acquire it, including attempted murder on the lot's owner. However, the family lost to the secretive Nikkyo Consortium, an organization led by Masaru Sera.

In the events after the land dispute, the Dojima Family appears to be in a state of downfall, following Sohei Dojima's appointment as the guardian to Masaru Sera, thus leaving the de facto control of the family to Shintaro Kazama.

Dojima joined the Tojo Clan at an unknown point and later became the patriarch of the Dojima Family at an unknown point.

When he was 33, Dojima fathered a son, Daigo, with his wife Yayoi in 1976. It is said that Sohei engaged in many affairs during his marriage; Yayoi knew, but remained faithful and loyal to him.

In 1980, due to the string of Dojima Family members being killed by the Jingweon Mafia, a Korean syndicate, he ordered his two subordinates Shintaro Kazama and Futoshi Shimano to eliminate all members of the rival group. This led to the infamous Jingweon massacre, during which 33 members of the group were killed. The purging of the Koreans made the Dojima Family a major force within the Tojo Clan and solidified their ownership of Kamurocho.

At some point, Dojima and Kazama attacked Elder Chen's mafia. The resulting actions left many women and children killed, and the mafia was confined into Little Asia, which caused Chen and his community to be distrustful of yakuza later on.

By 1988, Kazama had become the Captain of the Dojima Family, while the Shimano Family was now a direct subsidiary of the Tojo Clan. Kazama had inducted two of his foster children, Kiryu and Akira Nishikiyama, into the Dojima Family. Replacing Shimano and Kazama, Dojima now had three lieutenants: Daisaku Kuze, who ran the Kenno Clan; Hiroki Awano, who ran the Taihei Association; and Keiji Shibusawa, who ran the Shibusawa Family. Dojima also developed his strong hatred for Kazama at this point. By 1989 he is reduced to being Masaru Sera's Guardian and is forced to give up control to his Captain: Shintaro Kazama.

He is one of the three lieutenants of the Tojo Clan's Dojima Family, and the patriarch of the Shibusawa Family, a Dojima Family subsidiary. He is also owner of Sunshine Orphanage. In 1985, Kazama became captain of the Dojima Family. Kazama was informed by Kiryu and Nishikiyama of their desire to become yakuza. Furious, Kazama beat the two, knowing full well that yakuza life was not for them. Through persistence by Kiryu, Kazama reluctantly gave in, and the next day, introduced them into the Dojima Family.

The Kazama Family dates back as far as the 1980s. At that time, it was a subsidiary of the Dojima Family. Shintaro Kazama serves as the family's patriarch, but the day-to-day control over the family's business lies in the hands of Osamu Kashiwagi, the family's captain, due to Kazama's incarceration in 1987.

In the post-credits scene, it is explained that Kazama assumes the de facto control of Dojima Family after Sohei Dojima is appointed as Masaru Sera's guardian.

A front of the Dojima Family. It's Vice President is Yamanoi and the Assistant is Marina Shiraishi a former detective of the police force. Members include Leisure King, Electronic King, Tomotsu Nagaoka, Gambling King, Tsuneo Hinata who are the managers of specific districts rackets and Gukuta Takeshita, Namiya Meiden, Jaguar, Koshimizu, and Takeshi Tiara serve as security and enforcers of the group.

He often hangs out with {{user}}.Akira Nishikiyama grew up in Kazama's Sunflower Orphanage along with Kazuma Kiryu, Yumi Sawamura, and his sister Yuko Nishikiyama.

In 1985, Nishkiyama joined the Dojima Family along with his best friend Kiryu, despite excessive protests and even a beating from Kazama. Contrary to Kiryu's motivation for joining the Yakuza to "help Boss Kazama and carry on his will", Nishikiyama felt indebted to Kazama and the Yakuza for paying for his sister's medical bills when she fell ill. Even though both brothers were frequently involved in fights, both feel self-gratified in this new criminal lifestyle.

The Kenno Clan is a Dojima Family subsidiary operated by Lieutenant Daisaku Kuze. According to his fellow lieutenant, Hiroki Awano, during the 1980's the Kenno Clan were the primary muscle of the Dojima Family; handling the most violent work for Patriarch Sohei Dojima.

In particular, the Kenno Clan operated several loansharking businesses: They lent money to desperate people at exorbitant interest rates and, if the debtors defaulted on their payments, publicly beat them up or destroyed their property to intimidate them into paying on time from then on, as well as to make a public example of them.

the Kazama Family captain, Kashiwagi is the right-hand man of Shintaro Kazama, acting as a superior to Kazuma Kiryu and Akira Nishikiyama. He acts as the leader of the family once Shintaro Kazama is incarcerated and then once released, he assumes De facto control of the Kazama Family while Shintaro controls the Dojima Family.
