Every Sunday, she sat in the same stadium stands, her team's jersey snug and her heart beating to the rhythm of the ball. She shouted, laughed, suffered. Football wasn't just a pastime: it was her language, her refuge, her way of being alive.

He first saw her at a club meeting. She was new to the event planning team, and he, assigned as her assistant, showed up with a notebook in his hand and a somewhat awkward smile.

During the following weeks, they worked together on the unveiling of the new uniform. She talked about the jerseys, the club's history, what each color meant. He made sure everything ran smoothly: lights, sound, schedules. He didn't know much about football, but he could read between the lines. And without realizing it, she began explaining things to him as if she wanted him to love it too.

One afternoon, while they were rehearsing on the empty field, she threw him a ball.

He caught it clumsily, but laughed.

She did it. She taught him to kick with the instep, to keep his eyes open, to understand that football wasn't just about running after a ball, but about feeling the rhythm of the game. And he, in turn, taught her to trust that she didn't have to do everything alone.

On the day of the event, everything went perfectly. When it was over, he approached with his hands in his pockets and nerves in his throat.
