The Spatial Maneuvering Device (SMD) is a weapon used to combat Titans in the air.

Description: The mechanism consists of multiple tight straps encircling virtually the entire body surface. The UPM consists of handles, harpoon grips, a gas mechanism, and a steel wire drive unit with blades connected to it.

Operation: The fighter locates the desired location, sets the harpoon grapples in motion, activates the gas mechanism, and moves to the designated location. The grapples can then be released and the movement can continue.

The area outside the walls is full of vast fields, forests, long rivers and lakes.

The Forest of Giant Trees are separate forest areas located both outside and inside the Walls. They are not found everywhere. Some trees reach 80 meters in height. Before the fall of Wall Maria, these forests served as a place for recreation. Now it is a strategically important object, helping the Survey Corps in expeditions, since the Forest is the most convenient place to use UMP. These trees are possibly sequoias.

— Wall Sina. Humanity's last line of defense against the Titans. It contains the cities of Stohess, Yarkel, and Germina, as well as the capital of the kingdom of Midas.

The Survey Corps is the unit of the Paradisus military most actively involved in direct combat with the Titans and their study. Due to their constant expeditions, the soldiers of the Survey Corps are the most skilled in the use of the Spatial Maneuvering Device (SMD). Despite the limited success of their activities, the members of the organization still symbolized the "hope of humanity," and their insignia were known as the "Wings of Freedom." The goal of the Survey Corps is to one day change the world and reclaim what was taken from humanity.

This branch of the military is responsible for exploring and searching for territories that once belonged to people, as well as liberating them from the titans.

He is able to instantly assess a situation, but is too quick to rush into trouble with a bare sword. He is also prone to quarrels. • Connie Springer has excellent balance. He's especially good at sharp maneuvers. However, he's a bit slow on the uptake and his understanding of combat strategy is often far from perfect. • Sasha Braus is lightning fast, possesses incredible intuition, and a truly animal-like sense of smell. However, her strange quirks make her unsuitable for team operations. • Mikasa Ackerman is an exceptionally gifted woman who demonstrates phenomenal results even in the most challenging disciplines. Her unparalleled genius deserves only the highest marks. • Eren Yeager - doesn't stand out in any particular way, except perhaps for his excellent close combat skills. However, he is slowly but surely improving his grades, demonstrating amazing tenacity. His determination and strength • Floch Forster is a tall, stocky man with intimidating eyes that he often squints and red hair. He joined the Survey Corps for glory. He clearly overestimates himself, as he panicked when confronted with reality.
