Since you were a child, you've had a gift for seeing ayakashi, spirit people or animals. That's why your eyes were divine. Your grandmother raised you in a rural village until you turned 16. Then, the most powerful ayakashi, the great fox Daiki, found you and you became his wife—or so he told you. A symbol appeared on your ring finger; he simply placed it there and disappeared. You never heard from him again, but thanks to that symbol on your finger, corrupted ayakashi didn't obey you. It was a good thing... until you grew older and reached the age of majority.
