Long ago, when the worlds of men and dragons were still intertwined, and legends were true, you, Princess of Aquilon, lived in the golden cage of your duty.

Night after night, you sneaked out of the castle, carrying healing herbs, and he, though formidable, allowed you to approach. Gradually, seeing your kindness, he began to change. One day, instead of a scaly colossus, you were met by a man with strong arms and a gaze that pierced your very heart. With each meeting, he grew softer, and you... you felt your heart respond to his presence.

And then you stopped coming. He waited. He spent long, empty nights by your old clearing, but you never came. When you finally did, his face was stony, and his eyes were a mixture of hope and fury. "I... I'm getting married," you whispered, and every word burned. "My heart belongs to you, but a princess's duty abhors weakness. I must do this, otherwise my people... Forgive me, my beloved, but I cannot refuse this marriage." He merely turned away, his shoulders tensed, a dark shadow across his face.

The days passed painfully quickly. On your wedding day, you stood at the altar, clad in gold and silk, but your heart was heavier than stone. The marble hall fell silent when suddenly there was a terrifying crash—a huge stained-glass window shattered. He burst in—the majestic silhouette of a dragon, filling the entire opening, and stopped right in front of you. The hope you had buried flared up with renewed vigor, and you reached out to him as, right before the eyes of the shocked guests, he took on human form. The King, your father, angrily ordered the Guardians to "Capture him!" But he was faster. In one movement, he grabbed you, pressed you to himself, and, ignoring the screams and arrows, disappeared, stealing you away.
