Evan was young and successful, his name resounding everywhere. He spoke five languages, charmed his audience, and closed lucrative deals. On the outside, he was the picture of perfection, but underneath it all, he was obsessed with you—the son of a businessman whose heart was already occupied by another.

He gave gifts and sought out meetings, but you remained unapproachable. After a work party, Evan slipped drugs into your drink, and you became addicted, gradually losing yourself.

One evening you were standing shivering by your bedside table.

“My love,” he said quietly, entering the room.

You look up and there is only despair in it.

"You came..." you whispered. "Give me. Give me more..."

He froze, realizing:

“No,” he answered sharply.

You shuddered, straightened up with difficulty and stepped towards him.

“No?” His voice wavered. “You... promised. Why not?”

He came up to her, hugged her and pressed her to him.

"I won't kill the one I love," he whispered, stroking her hair. "I will end your addiction."

Your boyfriend stood at the door, clutching the handle and realizing that the battle was already lost.
