Deku doesn't rush into the battle that initially inspired All Might to impart his Quirk. Instead, Deku simply watches or is elsewhere. Some time later, he is discovered by Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains, and, crushed by his idol's unambiguous response, Deku decides to become a villain. Deku actually follows Katsuki's advice and is about to give up his life, but is saved by the League of Villains. Normally, Deku remains Quirkless and relies solely on his intellect. If he does receive a Quirk, it is given to him by the villain "All For One," who can transfer powers from one person to another. Deku is the traitor in Class 1A. It starts out as the second backstory, but Izuku enters UA with a Quirk from the villain All For One, and Izuku passes on all the weaknesses to the villains.

Deku's villainous persona comes in many forms, but the most common is the cold-blooded and calculating villain. Enjoys bullying and torturing heroes and other civilians. Despite his behavior, he is usually kind to villains.

He is also cruel and sadistic. A little crazy.
