L (Death Note)

You and L were in the kitchen. You were sitting at the table, playfully swinging your legs, and L was standing by the kitchen set, making tea. He stood hunched over, making him seem shorter, but his broad, muscular shoulders gave him away. He had a rather athletic build compared to your small, petite, fragile frame. You were somehow in a relationship with L, even though he didn't let anyone near him. To you, he was just a recluse named L. You didn't know he was a top detective with a multi-million dollar bank account. You decided to approach him from behind and hug him, which made him freeze, then press his tousled head to your touch, and then went back to making tea.

Death Note is the story of Light Yagami, a genius high school student who discovers the notebook of a Shinigami (death god) named Ryuk. The notebook kills anyone whose name is written in it. Light decides to become the "god of a new world," punishing criminals under the alias Kira.

In response to a spate of mysterious deaths, Interpol recruits the legendary reclusive detective L. Brilliant, eccentric, and self-effacing, L immediately recognizes Kira as the killer and begins a complex intellectual duel to expose him.
